Scoring and Score
Scoring in all examinations developed by the ACRB is derived on the basis of psychometrics as contained in Chapters 2, 3, and 6 of this manual.
The challenge to the cut score will be via Angoffs method. The items, format, and form are developed at seventy percent (70%) cut score. A score below seventy percent (70%) will yield a failed attempt. The failing will have a percentage grade and topic area of difficulty. The passing grade is seventy percent (70%) or above. This will be affirmed with the word "pass" or "passed".
Score Reporting
Applicants will receive their written test performance via the mail within six (6) weeks. Applicants will receive oral confirmation of their non-written practical results within one (1) day of the practical. A written report will sent to the applicants in all written and non-written oral practicals when necessary.
See exhibit
All scores are held in strict confidence. See Exhibit 0.0012 (pass/fail letters)
