The Governance and Structure of the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board and the American Chiropractic College of Rehabilitation Sciences
The ACRB and ACCRS are autonomous in the adaptation of the domain of Rehabilitation in Chiropractic. The Board and College are inclusive but are not limited, to the administration and certification is the following ways.
ACRB
Establish tests and maintain item pools from criteria-referenced content.
Establish and maintain cut score of pass or fail.
Maintain a register for active and inactive status for all ACRB level and diplomate doctors.
To certify diplomates for those applicants who have successfully completed ACRB levels, publication, and non-written requirements.
To employ or conduct tests for all ACRB levels and diplomates.
To create and maintain the standards, policies, and procedures manual.
Establish and conduct business meetings for the board.
The Board will collect money from the test, re-certification and registrations.
To elect officers to vacant board positions from qualified applicants.
To dismiss board officers or members, diplomats, ACRB level provider, applicant or candidates.
ACCRS
Establish and maintain educational standards.
Establish job task analysis related chiropractic rehabilitation.
Establish and maintain minimum education and clinical criteria-referenced topics.
Establish and maintain continual education requirements.
Establish and conduct business meetings for the college.
Provide a pool of eligible candidates for the Board.
ACRB and ACCRS
To control the use of the ACRB and DACRB acronym trademarks .
